Mane Foundation renovates the Oncology Pavilion at QSUT; Samir Mane: “This Initiative will expand across Albania”

At the Oncology Hospital in Tirana, where patients from all over Albania undergo long, demanding, and emotionally challenging treatment journeys, Mane Foundation has implemented a major intervention that directly enhances both the quality of care and the overall patient experience.

With treatment areas restored to dignified and functional conditions, the Oncology Hospital is now able to accommodate all daily patients more efficiently. The upgraded facilities provide a safer, more comfortable, and more humane environment for individuals receiving therapy.

Samir Mane, the Founder of Mane Foundation, personally visited the renovated pavilion to observe the impact of the intervention firsthand.
“Once we were made aware of the need, the Mane Foundation responded immediately, taking swift action to ensure the rapid delivery of the treatment chairs and to support the renovation of the facilities,” said Mr. Mane. He added that “we are committed to extending this initiative to hospitals in other cities as well, so that patients can receive chemotherapy treatment as close to home as possible.”

Prof. Dr. Helidon Nina, Medical Director of the Oncology Hospital, expressed his appreciation for the Foundation’s support, noting that “the transformation is, above all, functional. The current conditions allow us to treat approximately 100 patients per day through a more efficient planning system that primarily benefits the patients themselves.”

This initiative is part of the Mane Foundation’s broader mission to support health and well-being across the community, investing where the impact is immediate and where change meaningfully improves people’s lives.
