From her first day in the office to leading major leasing strategies, her story is a testament to dedication, energy, and the thrill of turning challenges into achievements.
Milena, take us behind the scenes of your journey at BALFIN Group. What’s the story of how you came on board and what’s kept you excited to stay?
“I joined Balfin Group in 2015, and this is my tenth year of being part of this highly dynamic team, full of energy, with never-ending projects. I remember my first day coming to the office at Acrem, with every little detail, just like it was yesterday. That’s because time flies at Balfin Group, and without noticing, you realize that a decade has passed.
It feels like the excitement of running in a marathon, when the only thing you know is the starting point, but as long as you keep running, it doesn’t matter where the finish is. You gain strength to run even faster.”
What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work at BALFIN Group?
“It may seem strange, but it was during my first interview when I realized that Balfin Group was the place where I wanted to work. It was love at first sight.
I was looking for a professional environment with quality and high-level standards to develop my career. While waiting for the interview, I overheard parts of my future colleagues’ discussions. I could immediately sense their professionalism, energy, and independence in their daily work. Nothing could have convinced me better.”
What’s your proudest achievement here at BALFIN Group?
“I consider working at Balfin Group an achievement every day. As part of the Leasing Department at Acrem, over the years, I’ve contributed to some major projects, mainly through the finalization of lease agreements. Projects like ‘QTU Extension’ in 2018, ‘TEG Extension’ in 2022, the opening of ‘West Park Korça’ in 2022, and ‘Galeria by TEG’ in 2024, among others, gave me invaluable experience and pride.”
Tell us about a recent win, something that boosted your career and left a personal mark.
“Currently, we’re in a very challenging phase at Acrem, working on the second ‘TEG Extension’ project. My colleagues and I from the Leasing Department have dedicated ourselves to building the ‘Leasing Strategy’ for this project. My contribution to the analytical part of revenues in this strategy was my strongest point, and I’m happy to say our strategy was accepted by the Board. Now, the next challenge is implementing it.”
What’s the one experience at BALFIN Group that’s unforgettable and could only happen here?
“Only at Balfin Group can you start implementing a challenging project in a very short time, without yet finishing the current one, and at the same time begin planning analysis for a third project.
This is how we keep training to run the marathon!”
