Two years ago, Neptun Macedonia, together with its employees, decided to make an impact in the local community in support of children without parental care. Ever since, the BALFIN Group company has been supporting the work of SOS Children’s Villages. In their latest campaign “Round Up the Receipt”, they join forces with their customers for this cause.
“During this period, we have done so many activities. We read stories to children, we planted trees, and we painted houses. Our employees held trainings for young people to strengthen their employability and, among other things, we became godfathers of one of the houses. To wrap up a year of activities, we decided to activate the campaign “Round up the receipt” for the second time, which starts on 1st of October and will last until 31st of December this year,” said Aleksandra Tasevska, Corporate Marketing Coordinator for Neptun Macedonia.
Through this action, customers, too, can join Neptun’s initiative, by contributing to quality conditions for the care of children in SOS Children’s Villages. By simply rounding up the receipt of any purchase at Neptun stores, they can donate an amount of their choice.
“We thank Neptun for recognizing the importance of supporting children from SOS Children’s Villages to grow up in a warm home, surrounded by parental love and care. This is their second donor initiative within the framework of our strategic partnership, and we are truly grateful for all active efforts towards a better understanding of the needs of these children,” said Silvija Brajovikj from SOS Children’s Village in Skopje.
On the occasion of the celebration of one year of being godfathers, on the 29th of September, Neptun’s team had fun with their Godfather’s House in the Zoo in Skopje, and the party continued in the official premises of Neptun, from where both the children and the employees left with full hearts and big smiles.
Through the humanitarian campaign “Round Up the Receipt”, Neptun wants to strengthen the capacities of the foster caregivers, as well as the children’s in SOS Children’s Village, demonstrating an active effort in creating better opportunities for them, but also with the belief that this gesture will mobilize other companies to make positive social changes.
