Jumbo, in collaboration with the Mane Foundation, has successfully finalized a new social responsibility project, making a significant contribution to the Pediatric Hospital in Prishtina. The project targeted two essential departments that play a vital role in children’s health and development: Hemato-Oncology and Speech Therapy (Logopedia).
The donation included modern medical equipment for the Hemato-Oncology department, designed to improve treatment services for children diagnosed with hematological and oncological conditions. Currently, around 400 children are treated in this department, with ongoing and complex medical needs. Through this contribution, Jumbo and the Mane Foundation aim to help address these challenges by enhancing the quality of care and supporting the continuity of daily treatments.
At the same time, the Speech Therapy service, which supports children with communication difficulties, received a donation of educational and therapeutic materials, including books, educational games, and assistive tools. These resources will be used across approximately 480 therapy sessions per month, benefiting 72 children, and helping to create a more effective, engaging, and supportive environment for their therapy and development.
This initiative is part of Jumbo’s broader corporate social responsibility strategy, fully aligned with the Mane Foundation’s mission to make a lasting impact on the community by improving the health and well-being of children.
