Take us behind the scenes of your journey at BALFIN Group. What’s the story of how you came on board and what’s kept you excited to stay?

I joined the company in January 2022 and have been part of it for almost four years now. From day one, both personally and professionally, my journey has been filled only with growth and progress. During this time, I have held three positions, each year bringing new challenges that have been instrumental to my development.

Was there a moment, big or small, when you realized you had made the right choice to join BALFIN Group?

I’m not the type to get excited quickly or to jump to conclusions right away, but around my second month of employment, I realized I had absolutely made the right choice joining Jumbo and BALFIN Group. I saw how the company operates with clear vision, high standards, and ambitious objectives. It’s rare to work in an organization whose objectives and principles align so closely with your own.

What’s your proudest achievement here at BALFIN Group?

Of course, my career path itself is one of my proudest achievements, having the chance to grow exponentially in just four years. But just as importantly, I value the opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues who have been in the business 20 years before me. That balance of personal growth and shared learning is what makes my journey at BALFIN Group truly special.

What’s the one experience that could only happen at BALFIN Group?

Doubling the company’s size in just four years, that is what has happened at Jumbo since I joined. Achieving this could only happen by following best practices, being strategic, and, of course, investing in and working with the best professionals in the market.

Describe your best day at work.

For sure, one of the best days was the day of my last promotion. What made it truly memorable was the support and praise I received from every colleague, not only at Jumbo but across all the retail companies in the group. It was a moment that reminded me of the value of teamwork, encouragement, and how much my professional network had grown in just two and a half years.
