Three excellent students from the Master of Science in Tourism & Management, at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Tirana, received scholarships from Green Coast, which has been continuing the tradition of supporting excellence for several years. Martha Klimi, Franko Kerka and Mirjan Aliaj are the young students who, thanks to their commitment in this field of studies, have secured professional and personal qualification opportunities in cooperation with Green Coast and other companies of BALFIN Group.
Bridging Business & Academia
In a meeting between students, lecturers, and leaders of the Faculty of Economics, Edlira Muka, on behalf of BALFIN Group, congratulated the students and emphasized the readiness to continue contributing to educational institutions. “BALFIN Group has created the necessary spaces for students to get to know our companies closely and even become part of them, according to the profiling and projects you may have,” she addressed the young people present.
In his speech, Deputy Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Bernard Dosti, stated that the agreement between the Faculty of Economics, UT and BALFIN Group has been successful in supporting students and infrastructure, with a laboratory completed in function of academic activities. He also expressed full confidence that this successful collaboration will continue in the future in support of students and in the further improvement of the research infrastructure where the project for another laboratory has already been completed. Among other things, he emphasized that tourism is one of the most priority sectors in the development of the country, which should be among the main directions of the development of practices and projects of marketing students.

About 350 graduates of the Faculty of Economics contribute their knowledge and skills to various sectors within BALFIN Group, such as banking, retail and real estate. Likewise, a significant number of students have benefited over the years from financial support to pursue their studies or to implement business ideas that they presented in the challenges organized by the BALFIN Group.
In particular, Green Coast, as a representative of modern tourism developments in the country, is focused on promising students in the tourism industry, believing that investment in education is the best way to bring the necessary progress in this sector.
