Dijana Jordanova – ERP Project Coordinator, Neptun Macedonia
Dijana didn’t follow a straight path, she built one. Starting in the Contact Center at Neptun Macedonia, part of BALFIN Group, she quickly turned curiosity into opportunity, moving across departments, taking on leadership challenges, and eventually stepping into the world of IT. Today, as an ERP Project Coordinator, she sits at the intersection of business and technology, making things work smarter and faster. Her journey is all about the right moment, taking every challenge, learning fast, and constantly pushing forward.
Looking back, what made you choose BALFIN Group, and when did you realize it was the right decision?
My journey with Neptun, as part of the BALFIN Group, started nearly 10 years ago. From the very beginning, I could feel that I was joining a professional system where hard work is recognized and vision is key. Joining such a dynamic international network gave me the confidence that this was the right environment to challenge myself and build a serious career. I realized it was the right decision the moment I saw that the company provides the space to evolve as much as you are willing to work for it.
How has your journey here evolved over time?
My growth within the company has been a true evolution. I started in the Contact Center, which gave me a great foundation in understanding our customers’ needs, and then moved to the Loyalty Program and Customer Finance department. A major milestone was stepping in as an Interim Manager in that department for a year—that experience really sharpened my leadership skills and sense of responsibility. My interest in technology and processes eventually led me to the IT sector, where I started as an ERP Administrator. Today, I’m proud to be the ERP Project Coordinator. Each of these roles has given me a unique perspective on the business and prepared me for the challenges I handle now.
What does a typical day in your role look like?
My day is all about keeping things on track. As an ERP Project Coordinator, I act as a bridge between our different departments and our ERP system, ensuring that everyone has the right tools to do their jobs. A big part of my role is project coordination—making sure we are aligned on new initiatives and that our ERP is evolving with the business. Usually, my day starts with addressing any urgent roadblocks to ensure that our operations run without interruptions. It’s a dynamic mix of strategic planning, troubleshooting, and helping the team navigate the system more effectively.
What part of your work excites or motivates you the most?
What has always motivated me, throughout every role I’ve held, is the ability to help others by solving problems. It’s the thread that connects my entire journey—from the Contact Center to the Loyalty Program and Customer Finance department, and now in IT. Today, as an ERP Project Coordinator, that feeling is even stronger. There is a special kind of satisfaction in untangling a complex technical issue and seeing how that solution immediately makes work easier for the whole team. Knowing that my support helps the business run smoothly is what keeps me driven every day.
Can you share a moment or achievement that made you feel truly proud?
I am most proud of my professional flexibility and the trust the company has placed in me over the years. Successfully leading the team while stepping in as an Interim Manager for the Loyalty Program and Customer Finance department gave me a lot of confidence and remains a period I am very proud of. Today, I also take great pride in the fact that I’ve gathered extensive business knowledge through my previous roles, which I now successfully apply to my work in IT. It shows that with the right mindset, you can truly evolve and bring value to any area of the company
What’s something about BALFIN Group that you think people from the outside might not expect?
People might not expect how much the Group values internal potential over just a job title. They don’t just look at what you can do today; they invest in what you can become tomorrow. Beyond the corporate structure, there’s a real sense of community. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a coffee with a colleague from a totally different department, share a new idea, and actually see it put into practice. It’s a very open and collaborative environment where everyone’s professional growth is genuinely celebrated.
In your experience, what makes BALFIN a place where people can really grow?
It’s the trust and the openness to new ideas. If you show initiative and a desire to learn, the doors are always open. My own path—moving through four different sectors over the years, is proof that the Group doesn’t box you into one role. They provide the environment and the tools for you to reinvent yourself professionally, as long as you have the ambition to go for it.
What keeps you inspired to keep building your career here?
The constant pulse of the company. It’s never just a routine; there’s always a new project to coordinate, a new challenge to solve, or a better way to improve our processes. Being in an environment that is always moving forward inspires me to do the same. Knowing that I am still learning every day and that my journey here is far from over is exactly what makes me excited for every next step.
