BALFIN continues to expand in the retail sector with another internationally renowned brand. This time, the Group brings the Danish brand Flying Tiger Copenhagen to the region, opening its second store in the Western Balkans at Tirana East Gate (TEG). The first store in the region was recently opened in Skopje, and the next store will open in Pristina in a few days. This move offers Albanian consumers a world filled with color, design, creativity, and Scandinavian simplicity, introducing a fresh retail experience in the local market.
The opening of Flying Tiger Copenhagen in TEG is part of a strategic partnership between BALFIN and Flying Tiger Copenhagen, aiming to expand the brand across the Western Balkans. Plans foresee more than 50 new stores over the next four years in Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia, creating around 400 new jobs in the region.
Martin Jeremiin, CEO of Flying Tiger Copenhagen, emphasized the strategic partnership with BALFIN, describing the Group as a key regional partner:
