Marija Mrvosevic- Finance Manager, Jumbo Montenegro
What’s the most interesting place you’ve ever visited?
One of the most fascinating places I’ve ever visited is Oko Skakavice in Montenegro. It’s a crystal-clear spring at the foot of the Prokletije Mountains, and what makes it so unique is its deep, almost mystical blue color like an eye watching from the forest floor, which is where it gets its name, “The Eye of Skakavica.”
What’s a song that always cheers you up?
Sia-Unstoppable
Do you have a favorite holiday tradition?
Yes, my favorite holiday tradition is Christmas. It’s the time of year when my whole family comes together, which doesn’t happen often. I really enjoy the warmth, the shared meals, and the little traditions we’ve kept over the years. It’s a time that always feels meaningful and full of positive energy.
Would you prefer to travel to the past or the future?
I would choose neither. I believe it’s better to live in the moment and fully experience the present. The past has already happened, and the future is uncertain, so focusing on the here and now lets you appreciate life and make the most of every opportunity.
If you could swap lives with someone for a day, who would you choose?
My 3-year-old son Lazar lives like a king
What’s your favorite season and why?
My favorite season is spring because of the way nature starts to come back to life. After the cold and gray of winter, everything begins to bloom, trees get their leaves back, flowers start to grow, and the air feels fresh and full of new energy. It’s a season of change and renewal, and it always gives me a sense of hope and motivation.
Would you prefer to be the funniest person in the room or the smartest?
I’d prefer to be the funniest person in the room. Humor brings people together, lightens the mood, and helps create a positive atmosphere. Being funny doesn’t mean you’re not smart, it often takes a lot of intelligence to make people laugh. Plus, making others smile or feel comfortable is something I really value.
If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Ice cream.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
If I could travel anywhere, I would choose Switzerland. The natural beauty there is incredible with the snow-covered Alps, crystal-clear lakes, and picturesque villages.
Do you have secret talent or an interesting hobby?
Cake making is my hidden talent.
If you had to live without music or without movies, which would you choose?
Without movies…Music is everywhere around us, follows us in every part of life and every emotional stage of life.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
The most adventurous thing I’ve ever done was going on the zipline in Ljubiš, Zlatibor. It was an incredible experience flying over the beautiful landscape with amazing views all around.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
English teacher.
At what age would you like to be forever?
I’d like to be the age I was when I was a student. That time in life was full of learning, growth, and new experiences. There was a sense of freedom, curiosity, and excitement about the future. I really enjoyed being surrounded by friends, having fewer responsibilities, and discovering who I am. It’s an age that felt full of possibility.
Which colleague would you nominate for the next interview?
Milos Vucetic -Operational controller at Jumbo MONTENEGRO
