Position: Security Supervisor
Department: Logistics

Position Overview:

The Security Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for customers and employees, monitoring store, warehouse, and office areas, and supervising security personnel. The role ensures proper functioning of all security systems, adherence to internal procedures, and implementation of measures to prevent thefts, incidents, and other risks. The Security Supervisor acts as a leader for the security team and communicates effectively with staff and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe environment for customers and staff in all store areas.
  • Monitor the functionality and performance of all security systems (cameras, alarms, fire-safety equipment, etc.).
  • Oversee merchandise security and cash handling.
  • Ensure compliance with security procedures and internal regulations by all staff.
  • Inspect waste management processes and coordinate transportation.
  • Monitor fire safety procedures and regularly inspect emergency exits.
  • Ensure fire protection equipment is functional at all times.
  • Supervise and guide security staff, ensuring manuals and safety signs are present.
  • Monitor visitors and control access to the store.
  • Inform employees about workplace safety matters.
  • Manage theft incidents involving customers or employees and follow procedures.
  • Ensure safety compliance in the warehouse and other store areas.
  • Oversee accuracy of merchandise flow from staff entry to warehouse and customer exit.
  • Handle unexpected situations in the store.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Security Manager.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma.
  • Experience: 6 months – 1 year in a similar security role.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Knowledge of a foreign language is an advantage.
  • Driving License: Category B.

  • Ability to use necessary tools and equipment in security operations.
