The Venice Biennale is one of the world’s most important cultural events, bringing together countries, artists, and institutions from across the globe to present contemporary art and national identity on an international stage.
This year, the Albanian Pavilion presents A Place Under the Sun by Albanian artist Gent Korini, a work that explores themes of identity, belonging, human experience, and the search for connection in today’s world. Through a contemporary artistic language, the project invites visitors to reflect on both personal and collective realities, while offering an authentic Albanian perspective within an international cultural dialogue.

The Albanian Pavilion is proudly supported by Mane Foundation, reflecting a continued commitment to promoting culture, creativity, and Albania’s representation in the international cultural environment. Supporting initiatives of this scale is not always easy. Around the world, many leading international companies and foundations invest in art and culture because they understand that cultural representation is an important part of how a country builds its image, strengthens dialogue, and creates lasting international impact.
Through this contribution, the Mane Foundation continues its mission of supporting projects that create value for society, education, culture, and future generations, values that are also closely connected to BALFIN Group’s broader vision of sustainable development, community engagement, and long-term impact.
Participation in the Venice Biennale is more than an exhibition. It is an opportunity for Albania’s voice, talent, and artistic identity to become part of a global conversation and to strengthen the country’s presence on one of the world’s most prestigious cultural platforms.
