Being the Director of the entire Technical Unit in a leading construction company is a huge responsibility that comes with immense satisfaction, and Kozma Heqimi can tell you all about it. In his 10 years at Mane TCI, Kozma and his team have reached new peaks. But what sparks the most about his story is the way he tells it – with refreshing candor and humility.
Describe your professional journey at BALFIN Group.
My journey at Mane TCI as part of BALFIN Group, started on January 4, 2011, initially as an ordinary civil engineer in the construction of the Rolling Hills residential complex, where I was assigned the realization of the first model villa. In May 2014, I was entrusted with directing and managing the project for the construction of the Rolling Hills complex – a very big challenge for me, but with the support of the group, we succeeded. Other tasks were the successful closure of the Park Gate Project and the Green Coast Project Development in Palasë. Since November 2019, I hold the position of Mane TCI’s Technical Director.
What was the moment you knew you had made the right decision to work at BALFIN Group?
It happened very quickly, from the beginning. I had just become part of Mane TCI and realized it was a construction company very different from other companies in the market.
What are you most proud of in your career at BALFIN Group?
The Rolling Hills complex was one of those projects that changed the standard of elite construction, and I was in its direction. This continues to make me proud to this day.
Describe a recent professional achievement that you believe also contributes to your personal success.
The trust given to me through the promotion to my current position as Technical Director was a professional achievement that to an engineer like myself, who has linked work and life inseparably, is an entire personal achievement as well.

Describe the best day you’ve had at work.
When I ran the Rolling Hills project, one of our clients called to see me, but without telling me what for. I immediately went to him and thought that there had been some problem, which for truth’s sake, in a complex that had just started housing and the workers were still in operation, were not absent. The client opened the door and said to me: “Thank you!!! I just called you to thank you and the whole team for the good work you have done for my villa and the whole complex!” I was overwhelmed with emotions as I did not expect it, and I immediately went to my staff to pass on the appreciation.
