The inauguration ceremony of Univers City welcomed on November 19th the President of BALFIN Group, Samir Mane, the CEO of BALFIN Group, Edlira Muka, BALFIN Group Real Estate Vice President, Ardiana Sokoli, the Executive Director of Mane TCI, Erion Avram, the Executive Director of Balfin Real Estate & Hospitality, Ledia Telhai and many other representatives from the BALFIN Group and partners.
In the opening speech of the ceremony, the BALFIN Group Vice President for Real Estate unveiled the vision in the conception of Univers City, the newest residential complex, which will be a city within the city.
“We are here today to inaugurate a new urban center for people. A new neighborhood, a Universe, which includes all services in one of the next centers of an increasingly polycentric city, thus becoming a catalyst for economic development, for both Tirana and Kamza. This will be a colossal investment and we are proud that it is BALFIN Group that is taking this step,” said Ardiana Sokoli.
She also talked about the various service units that will be offered in Univers City, such as the kindergarten and public school, sports corners, parks, and other green and recreational areas within this complex. In her speech, the Real Estate VP expressed her appreciation for the excellent work and cooperation of engineers, architects, and partners for the realization of this project.
Mane TCI‘s Executive Director, Erion Avram, revealed some details on the construction standards of this complex. “A unique value for the complex has the road and underground infrastructure, and the sewerage system – all of modern standards. Fire protection systems have been designed with a special focus to ensure a safe living in the community,” said Avram.
Lulëzim Mehmetaj, Executive Director of Startek, one of the development companies of Univers City, expressed gratitude for the cooperation and the commitment of his company for the realization of this project. Other partners of the Univers City complex are the companies Devealb, Ales Construction, Progeen, Riviera Company, Bermuda and MA Studio, whose representatives participated in the inauguration ceremony.
The ceremony concluded with ribbon cutting. The honors were done by BALFIN Group CEO, Edlira Muka, and the developers and partners of Univers City.
Univers City will be a residential area with a variety of buildings, and an emphasis on the sustainability of structures and functionality. With the completion of works in 2023, 4,000 families will come to live in this new area of the city of 150,000 m2, the most spacious and completed neighborhood in Albania.
