Emails sent by Balfin SHPK will come from an address ending in @balfin.al. Other Balfin Group companies may use their own official corporate email domains or authorized recruitment platforms.

BALFIN Group has become aware of fraudulent recruitment communications sent by individuals or organizations falsely claiming to represent Balfin SHPK or other BALFIN Group companies. These communications may refer to vacancies, interviews or employment offers that do not exist and are often intended to obtain money, personal documents or financial information from candidates.

People are our greatest investment, and we are committed to ensuring that every recruitment process is conducted with integrity, transparency, fairness and respect for candidates. We therefore encourage all candidates to take a moment to verify any communication that appears unusual or does not follow the practices described below.

01 Official channels

How to Recognize an Official Balfin Recruitment Process

Genuine job opportunities are communicated through:

Emails sent by Balfin SHPK will come from an address ending in @balfin.al. Other BALFIN
Group companies may use their own official corporate email domains or authorized recruitment
platforms.
Always check the full email address, and domain name carefully. If you are uncertain about a
vacancy, interview invitation or offer, verify it through the official Balfin SHPK careers page or
contact the relevant Group company directly.
A message received through WhatsApp, Telegram, social media or text messages should not, on
its own, be treated as confirmation of an official recruitment process. Balfin SHPK recruiters
may use different communication tools during the process, but any formal interview invitation or
employment offer should be capable of independent verification through an official corporate
channel.

02 Never asked

What We Will Never Ask You to Do:

Balfin SHPK and Balfin Group companies will never:

ask you to transfer money, or make payments to an individual, or intermediary or offered payment prior to starting work;
appoint a travel agency, immigration adviser courier company or other third party to collect recruitment – related payments from you;
request payment at any stage of the recruitment process, including application, registration, training, travel, visa, equipment, administrative or processing fees;
make an immediate employment offer without an appropriate application, assessment and interviews process;
ask you to send sensitive personal documents or banking information through a personal email account, messaging application or another unauthorized channel;
request passwords, online-banking credentials or similar confidential financial information, payment – card information;
pressure you to act immediately, keep the process confidential or avoid verifying the offer through official Balfin SHPK channels.

Where personal information or supporting documents are genuinely required, they will be requested at the appropriate stage, for a clear purpose and through an authorized channel, in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

03 Warning signs

Warning Signs

You should treat a recruitment communication with caution if:

it relates to a vacancy for which you did not apply;
it promises employment or unusually favorable conditions without a formal interview;
it comes from a free email service or a domain that only resembles an official Balfin SHPK or Group company domain;
it requests confidential financial information;
the sender insists on communicating exclusively through WhatsApp, Telegram or another messaging application;
you are directed to an unfamiliar lawyer, bank, travel agency, courier, visa- processing company;
you are pressured to respond, make a payment or provide documents immediately;
the documents contain the Balfin SHPK name, logo or the name of an actual employee, but cannot be verified through an official channel;
the sender refuses or avoids independent verification.

Please remember that the appearance of Balfin SHPK name, logo, branding or the name of an employee does not, by itself, confirm that communication is genuine.

04 If it happens

What to Do if You receive Suspicious Communication

If you receive a suspicious recruitment message or employment offer:

Stop communicating with the sender.
Do not make any payment or provide personal, identification, banking or financial information
Do not click suspicious links or download attachments.
Keep the original message, sender details, website address, telephone number, screenshots and documents received.
Check the vacancy through the official Balfin SHPK careers page or directly with the relevant BALFIN Group company.
Where appropriate, report the matter to the relevant online platform or competent authorities.

If you have already transferred money or disclosed banking information, contact your bank immediately and report the incident to the appropriate law – enforcement authority.

05 Scope

Unauthorized Use of Balfin SHPK Identity

Balfin SHPK and BALFIN Group companies do not authorize third parties to use their names, logos, trademarks or employee identities for fraudulent recruitment activities. Any such use is unauthorized, may infringe Balfin SHPK rights and may be reported to the relevant platforms and competent authorities.

This notice applies to Balfin SHPK and to companies directly or indirectly controlled by Balfin SHPK. Since Group companies operate in different jurisdictions and may use different corporate domains or recruitment platforms, candidates should verify each opportunity through the official career’s channels of Balfin SHPK or the relevant Group company.
