Green Coast Hotel – MGallery Collection officially opened its doors to guests and celebrated with a grand opening event on June 30th. The ceremony brought together a
diverse group of guests, including politicians, diplomats, artists, journalists, prominent figures, and business partners.
This luxurious 5-star+ hotel is the result of a partnership between BALFIN Group and Accor Group, a leading global name in hospitality and tourism.
The opening was honored by the presence of Her Highness Sheika Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems (part of Accor Group), Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, and Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro.
Also present were well-known figures such as Vera Grabocka, Timo Flloko, Blendi Fevziu, Armand Shkullaku, Çim Peka, Anila Basha, Drini Zeqo, Berat Buzhala, Armando Duka, Jori Delli, Ylli Limani, Noizy, Sara Hoxha, Irfan Hysenbelliu, and others.

As the sun set over the Ionian Sea, the opening speech was given by Samir Mane, the founder and President of BALFIN Group. He praised Green Coast Hotel – MGallery as “a strategic step to put Albania on the world map as a premium tourist destination.” Mane emphasized that “this project is the result of BALFIN Group’s commitment not only to building infrastructure but also to creating jobs and supporting local development.” He ended his speech by saying, “Green Coast Hotel – MGallery is the latest proof of what can be achieved when vision meets execution.”

Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems, spoke about the partnership between Accor Group and BALFIN, and why this famous hotel chain trusted BALFIN’s vision to bring the first MGallery-branded hotel to Albania.

Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku also gave a speech, saying, “With Green Coast Hotel – MGallery Collection, Albania shows that it is a small country with big ambitions and, above all, is on the right path to becoming a key destination for tourism in Europe.”


After the speeches, the ceremony continued with the symbolic ribbon-cutting by the President of BALFIN Group, the CEO of Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems, Maud Bailly, and the Vice President of BALFIN, Martin Mane.
The evening ended with a stunning drone show, creating a festive atmosphere on the Ionian Sea coast.
