Driving inclusion: BALFIN Companies supporting individuals with Down Syndrome

During Down Syndrome Awareness Month, BALFIN Group companies engaged in meaningful initiatives aligned with the Mane Foundation’s vision for a more inclusive and equal society.

Kiabi joined the global colorful socks campaign in partnership with Down Syndrome Albania, helping raise awareness while contributing to funding essential therapies for children with Down syndrome.

Meanwhile, QTU marked World Down Syndrome Day with the activity “Together Against Loneliness,” engaging its staff in a symbolic initiative that promotes inclusion, solidarity, and the importance of building a community where no one feels left behind. Through its long-standing partnership with Down Syndrome Albania, QTU has continuously supported therapy services for dozens of children.

At the same time, through the Happy App, BALFIN colleagues, their family members, and all users have the opportunity to contribute in a simple and meaningful way by donating their benefit points. These points are then converted into financial support, directly contributing to the funding of therapeutic services and development programs for children with Down syndrome. Through this initiative, even small individual contributions can collectively create a significant impact, helping improve access to essential care and supporting the overall well-being and development of children and their families.

These initiatives build on the ongoing commitment of Mane Foundation, which a few months ago supported the inauguration of the PRO PAK services center, providing therapy, education, and care for children with disabilities, many of whom benefit free of charge.
