BALFIN Group organized the third consecutive edition of Balfin Innovation Summit, an annual event dedicated to innovative ideas and projects. Four finalist companies of the Group from different sectors presented concepts that constituted innovations both within their structure and in the market, yesterday in the premises of the Center for Creative Technologies TUMO.
Balfin Innovation Summit is an “instrument” to introduce and maximize employee potential, and to raise the Group’s innovation culture to a higher level. The four innovative projects presented in the finale were from Jumbo, Mane TCI, Neptun and Tirana Bank.
The evaluation of the presented ideas was made by a selected jury, composed of Enio Jaço, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Albania, Artan Hoxha, Administrator of Tirana Business University, and Matilda Shehu, Director of Business Operations at BALFIN Group.
In her welcoming speech, the CEO of BALFIN Group, Edlira Muka, said, “Innovation is not only one of our core values as a Group, but rather, a well-established tradition, which culminates every year with this event that rewards the best ideas that will mark our future. Knowing that behind the Group’s successes stand special people like you, who are always hungry for new ideas, innovation, and success, makes the job even more worthwhile.”
Jumbo’s CEO, Toljan Papajorgji, presented a new brand, coming soon to the Albanian market. The brand is an innovative concept in terms of both the company’s strategic development, and the business model it will follow. The project was realized in collaboration with Isida Peku, Retail Manager.
The Marketing Director of Neptun, Drini Dushku, represented the company with the project “Digital Pricing”, which elaborated in detail a new concept of displaying and managing product pricing in stores. This project also had the engagement of the CEO, Alexandros Kosenas, Commercial Director, Evis Tartale, and Services and Project Manager, Artur Prendi.
In a general analysis, the HR Director of Tirana Bank, Anisa Keri, presented to the participants “Customer Instant Feedback” – a practical customer response program through QR codes, which is an innovation and advantage for the industry. Fotelda Dai, Assistant Manager, Edit Qyra, Recruitment and Performance Specialist, and Selva Ramallari, Employee Relations Specialist, also contributed to the project preparation.
As for Mane TCI, announced as the “Most Innovative Project”, Blerim Pëllumbi, Planning and Reporting Manager, presented “Building Information Modeling”, which integrates structured, multi-disciplinary data to produce a digital representation of an asset across its lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and operations. Juxhina Spahiu, Project Coordinator, Omejna Murati, Quantity Controller, and Xhorxhia Dono, Office Coordinator, also worked on this project. Mane TCI is crowned for the second time as the company with the most innovative project at BIS.
Thanks to these activities, BALFIN Group stands out as one of the most important supporters of innovative ideas in all countries where it is present. Balfin Innovation Summit constitutes its most important activity related to innovation. The projects presented by group companies in this event have been successful in their approach and application in the market, which makes the activity in itself even more consolidated.
