Klodiana ISMAJLAJ – Operations Manager, TEG
A career can change a lot in nine years. For Klodiana Ismajlaj, it has meant moving through different roles, taking on greater responsibility, learning from each new challenge, and growing together with some of BALFIN’s most dynamic shopping centers.
Her journey began at QTU in 2017 as an Assistant Manager. It continued through the roles of Coordinator and QTU Manager, before taking her to TEG, where she now works as Operations Manager. But behind those titles is a story built gradually: through trust, consistency, teamwork, and the willingness to keep stepping into something new.
From contributing to the QTU Extension project to managing the everyday complexity of shopping center operations, Klodiana’s experience shows that career growth is rarely one single leap. More often, it is the result of many moments, decisions, and opportunities that build on one another.
In this Success Story, Klodiana reflects on the journey so far, the experiences that have shaped her, and what continues to motivate her to move forward.
Looking back, what made you choose BALFIN Group, and when did you realize it was the right decision?
I joined BALFIN Group in 2017 looking for a company where I could learn, grow, and build a long-term career. Looking back, I realized it was the right decision as I was continuously trusted with new responsibilities and given opportunities to develop both professionally and personally.
How has your journey here evolved over time?
My journey has been one of continuous growth. I started as an Assistant Manager at QTU, then I was promoted to Coordinator, later to QTU Manager, and after leading QTU for two years, I joined TEG as Operations Manager. Every role has helped me gain new skills, confidence, and experience.
What does a typical day in your role look like?
Every day is different, and that’s what I enjoy most. My role involves coordinating operations, working closely with different teams, supporting tenants, solving challenges, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly for our visitors and partners.
What part of your work excites or motivates you the most?
What motivates me most is seeing ideas become reality. I enjoy working with people, overcoming challenges, and knowing that my work contributes to creating better experiences for everyone who visits our shopping centers.
Can you share a moment or achievement that made you feel truly proud?
One of the moments I’m most proud of was being part of the QTU Extension project. Following the project from start to finish, working with different teams, and seeing the project coming to life was an incredible experience. It made me realize how rewarding it is to be part of projects that create a lasting impact.
What’s something about BALFIN Group that people from the outside might not expect?
People usually see the final result, but they don’t always realize how much teamwork, collaboration, and dedication happen behind the scenes. BALFIN encourages people to contribute ideas, take ownership, and continuously improve.
In your experience, what makes BALFIN a place where people can really grow?
BALFIN gives people the opportunity to grow through trust, responsibility, and continuous learning. If you’re willing to work hard, learn, and take initiative, there are always opportunities to develop. My own career path is proof of that.
What keeps you inspired to keep building your career here?
What keeps me inspired is knowing that there are always new challenges ahead. Being part of TEG means being part of a place that never stands still. Every day brings new opportunities to learn, improve, and make a positive impact. Seeing the results of our teamwork and contributing to the continuous growth of TEG motivates me to keep building my career with BALFIN.
