Sidita Beqiraga – Store Manager, Jumbo Albania

Since joining Jumbo in Shkoder in 2018, Sidita Beqiraga has embraced every opportunity to learn, take on new responsibilities, and grow professionally. In this edition of Success Story, Sidita reflects on the experiences that shaped her career, the people who inspire her, and what continues to motivate her every day.
Looking back, what made you choose BALFIN Group, and when did you realize it was the right decision?
When I joined Jumbo in Shkoder in 2018, it was something completely new for the city, and that made me excited to become part of it. I realized I had made the right decision when I saw that hard work and dedication are genuinely recognized and appreciated. How has your journey here evolved over time?
My journey began as an Assistant Cashier Supervisor. Within a few months, I was promoted to Cashier Supervisor, and later I became Store Manager. It has been a continuous journey of learning and development. Every role has helped me gain new knowledge, strengthen my leadership skills, and learn how to motivate my team while making decisions that positively impact the store’s performance.
What does a typical day in your role look like?
No two days are ever the same. My day starts with planning, supporting my team, and monitoring the store’s performance. Throughout the day, I focus on ensuring excellent customer service, resolving any challenges that arise, and coordinating the team’s activities. Our shared goal is to achieve strong results while creating a positive working environment and delivering the best possible experience for every customer.
What part of your work excites or motivates you the most?
What motivates me the most is seeing my team grow, develop new skills, and achieve our goals together. Their success is also my success, and seeing people reach their potential is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
Can you share a moment or achievement that made you feel truly proud?
One of the moments I am most proud of was my first year as Store Manager, when I successfully led the team while maintaining high operational standards and achieving excellent results.
Another memorable achievement was when members of our team received two awards in the Recognition Program: Best Visual Merchandiser and Best Inventory. That experience reinforced my belief that teamwork, trust, and effective communication are the foundations of long-term success.
What’s something about BALFIN Group that you think people from the outside might not expect?
I believe many people outside the company don’t realize how much BALFIN Group invests in its people. Employees are trained, supported, developed, and promoted based on their dedication and performance.
