June 1-st is a time when all children celebrate by having fun and receiving gifts from their loved ones but it is also a time when more than ever, we need to draw our attention to children deprived of parent’s gifts.
Sixteen children, aged 8 months -7 years old, in the Orphanage of Shkodra were able to enjoy this day with a simple gift package, set up by a voluntary initiative of the employees of Neptun Albania, with clothes, toys, books and other materials.
The Human Resources Department team at Neptun prepared a list, providing to the colleagues the opportunity to pick a child and make a special gift package for him/her.
Some of the donors also joined the company staff who were present at the Orphanage of Shkodra yesterday to personally deliver the gifts to the children.
Neptun says that “the children were very happy, and we just wish they really enjoyed those gifts”.
