BALFIN Group has recently launched the 5th edition of its Talent Pool, an internal leadership program aimed at developing future leaders within the organization.
Since its inception in 2016, the program has successfully trained 78 colleagues, preparing them for influential leadership roles across 11 countries. This year, 18 talented colleagues have been selected to embark on an enriching journey to enhance their skills and advance within the organization.
Participants in Talent Pool 5 come from a diverse range of sectors, including Real Estate, Asset Management, Retail, Banking, and Balfin HQ. These future leaders are identified through a rigorous internal selection process supported by VPs, CEOs, and HR Managers.
BALFIN Group’s commitment to fostering future leaders remains strong, ensuring a solid pipeline of senior managers who will continue to drive the organization forward. The program is structured to provide comprehensive leadership development, with a mix of onsite training, online sessions, and real-world project assignments.
This year’s cohort includes professionals from various departments across the organization.

The Talent Pool program is designed to equip participants with both practical and theoretical knowledge. It includes two onsite training sessions totaling 10 days, supplemented by online modules and a dynamic two-day bootcamp. The training culminates with the presentation of a project, offering participants the opportunity to apply their learning in real-world contexts.

The first onsite training, held from March 3-7, focused on “Leading Self in a Challenging Setting” and featured a Leadership Masterclass. In addition, participants had the unique opportunity to engage with the CEO of Tirana Bank, Mr. Dritan Mustafa, who shared his insights on leadership, organizational culture, and the traits of successful leaders. His session focused on how aspiring leaders can add value to the organization and the qualities that help individuals reach executive positions. Mr. Mustafa also shared personal leadership lessons, offering practical advice.
Talent Pool is not just about theoretical knowledge, it’s a hands-on experience. Through shadow coaching and project assignments, participants are given tools and resources to refine their leadership capabilities in real-time. By the end of the program, each participant will have a clearer understanding of their leadership potential, ready to take on new challenges.
