Agron Topi
Greenery Supervisor- Balfin Asset Management & Hospitality
At the heart of Green Coast’s transformation into a beautiful, sustainable space is Agron Topi, an agronomist with over 35 years of experience. He has worked in both the public and private sectors, always driven by a love for nature and a commitment to sustainability. Agron’s leadership has been essential in turning Green Coast’s vision of an eco- friendly environment into reality.
Agron’s work at Balfin Asset Management & Hospitality started with a clear goal: to create a green and thriving space. Under his guidance, the project has reached impressive milestones, including planting over 500,000 plants, 500 trees, and 6,000 Mediterranean shrubs and low plants in just two years. This success reflects his careful planning and dedication.
Before joining Balfin Asset Management & Hospitality, Agron worked on a World Bank project to improve watering and drainage systems in the Fier region. He brought many of these solutions to Green Coast, including the creation of an onsite plant nursery, which ensures a steady supply of healthy plants suited to the local environment. His team has also been key in replanting damaged areas and restoring native maquis ecosystems.
Agron’s work goes beyond just planting. His careful approach to replanting maquis shrubs and trees has helped create a healthier environment. From growing native plants to planting at the right time and making sure they are well cared for, Agron has laid the foundation for long-term success.
As Green Coast moves forward, Agron’s knowledge continues to help guide the project. The addition of 70,000 square meters of green corridors and new terraces will further enhance the natural beauty of the area.Agron’s story is a great reminder of how dedication and hard work can help make the world a greener, more sustainable place for all.
