BALFIN Group establishes a new communication bridge with higher education institutions. Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Tirana, Albania, Prof. Dr. Spiro Drushku held a meeting with the CEO of the BALFIN Group, Edlira Muka, during which they also formalized this new step.

The cooperation memorandum creates the necessary space for the companies of BALFN Group to support the Faculty of Natural Sciences for a higher quality academic process for students and lecturers, while also preparing young people for the labor market.

The Dean of this Faculty appreciated the willingness of BALFIN Group to be close to universities and affirmed the interest of students to be involved in the activities of its companies, as well as the value that the best of business can bring to education. “The Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Tirana is part of four programs of national priority. Its fruitful relationship with commercial companies makes the positioning of the institution and students more worthy in front of national and international partners, as well as helps sustainable development,” added Prof. Dr. Spiro Drushku.

Edlira Muka emphasized that the memorandum of cooperation comes after the first experiences with student internships in BALFIN Group companies and the contribution to the infrastructure of this institution. During this year, BALFIN Group has equipped four laboratories of the faculty with information and communication technology tools, through its B4Students program, which is dedicated specifically to education. “The directors of our companies share practical expertise in university classrooms, focusing on areas with the greatest impact on the future of society. We will continue the exchange of best practices, to achieve the promotion of genuine scientific research and even consultancy for academic curricula,” she said.

BALFIN Group is ready to create opportunities for students to integrate into its own business structures in its various industries, but at the same time to help fulfill the goals of those students who are looking for a professional career in other countries where it is active.
