Position:        Cost Estimator

Job Summary: The Cost Estimator is responsible for preparing cost estimates and analyzing expenses for construction projects. He/she ensures that financial and technical costs are accurate and based on market standards and prices, assisting in the preparation of budgets for various projects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepares cost estimates and cost analysis for construction projects carried out by the company;
• Reviews quantity takeoffs and associated pricing for various projects received from design studios;
• Analyzes market prices for materials, labor, and auxiliary services;
• Monitors market price fluctuations and updates the cost database accordingly;
• Ensures cost estimates comply with legal and technical standards;
• Develops/Reviews cost estimates for additional client requests;
• Conducts cost analysis for different construction tasks and details;
• Evaluates and analyzes cost optimization strategies for construction;
• Consults with project management on material pricing.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation software.
• Excellent analytical and calculation skills;
• Understanding of material prices and market standards;
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage complex projects;
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with various professional teams;
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision;
• Attention to detail, strong follow-up skills, and problem-solving abilities.
