Job Position: Treasury Manager
Department: Corporate Finance
Reports to: Chief Finance Officer
Overview
Provide fuel for investments (funding + liquidity). Leads the Group’s Treasury function, responsible for shaping treasury strategy, optimizing liquidity, overseeing risk, and ensuring alignment of cash, financing, and investment policies with Group objectives. Acts as decision-maker on treasury strategy in full alignment with Group CFO.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Oversight
- Develop and manage strategies, operations, policies, and budgets relating to treasury activities.
- Directs development and revision of financial policies for capital structure.
- Provide strategic advice to executive management on capital allocation, funding, and investment decisions.
- Mentor and guide Senior Treasury Funding Specialists, and Junior Specialist to deliver high-quality operational results.
- Assist CFO on any ad-hoc project/assignment
Banking & Financing Strategy
- Maintain relationships with banks, lenders, and financial institutions.
- Approve financing structures and terms negotiated by Senior Treasury Specialists and the Supervisor.
- Oversee strategic debt, credit facilities, and investment decisions.
Money Market Investments
- Set strategic direction for short-term and long-term investments.
- Evaluate and approve investment opportunities and financial instruments recommended by the team.
- Monitor performance of investment portfolios and provide strategic recommendations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or finance required. CFA certificate is highly preferred, or master’s degree in business/finance is also preferred.
- Knowledge of investment portfolio products, banking, and financial instruments.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in Banking, Finance and/or Accounting with a strong emphasis on the Financial Analysis and/or Treasury functions.
- At least 3 years of management experience.
- Excellent command of English language
- Must have strong analytical/quantitative skills and experience with a multi-site organization.
- Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills.
- Experience in building complex financial models to evaluate various financial plans.
- Experience in presenting and preparing proposals and recommendations
