Job Position:   Treasury Specialist

Job Summary:

The Treasury Specialist is responsible for managing the company’s liquidity and for making payments and financial transactions. He/She ensures that payments are made within the deadlines, manages bank accounts and monitors cash flow, prepares financial reports and analyzes liquidity. Also, he/she maintains good relations with banks and suppliers, ensures compliance with financial policies and supports audits. The purpose of the position is to ensure efficient management of liquidity, maintain the financial stability of the company and optimising cash flow to support its activities and sustainable development.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation of invoices with suppliers and execution of payments in the established terms.
  • Making online payments and managing international and local bank transfers, guaranteeing the accuracy and security of transactions.
  • Preparation and maintenance of accompanying documentation for payments, including payment orders, invoices and financial reports.
  • Verification of compliance of payments with company rules and policies.
  • Carrying out periodic checks to avoid errors or anomalies in financial transactions.
  • Registration of banking and cash transactions in the accounting system every day, ensuring the correct connection with the relevant invoices.
  • Uploading and updating the justifying documentation in the financial system and physical archiving when necessary.
  • Drafting of weekly and monthly reports on liquidity, reconciliations and financial analyses, such as “Cash Report” and “Cash Flow”.
  • Ensuring that the cash balance does not exceed the limits set by the company’s policy.
  • Drafting daily reports of collections and cooperation with colleagues of the sales department on the details of customer collections.
  • Anticipating and ensuring the necessary liquidity for making important payments within the specified deadlines.
  • Registration and monitoring of liquidity in international bank accounts for representative offices, ensuring compliance with local and international requirements.
  • Completing the necessary documentation for the maintenance and revision of bank accounts in the countries where the representation offices operate.
  • Serving as a point of contact for suppliers and colleagues from other departments regarding the status of payments and related information.
  • Coordination and representation of the company in communications with banks for treasury operations.
  • Providing support for internal and external audits, guaranteeing the necessary documentation.

 

Working Experience:

  • Have at least 1-2 years of work experience in finance and accounting.

 

 Other Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of liquidity management
  • Analytical and diagnostic skills.
  • Knowledge of banking practices and liquidity management.
  • Knowledge of the English language and MS Office.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to solve accounting problems and adapt to changes.
  • Degrees in Finance, Accounting or similar fields.
